EASL welcomes the interest of the media in matters relating to hepatology and is happy to provide assistance both to journalists who wish to attend The International Liver Congress™ 2019 (ILC 2019). The ILC 2019 press kit will be available in early 2019.
Please contact the ILC 2019 press office to be added to the ILC 2019 mailing list, or if you have any questions regarding ILC related media, press registration, and audio or video recordings.
Registration fees will be waived for members of the working press who wish to attend to cover the ILC. EASL defines “working press” as reporters, writers, editors, publishers, photographers, videographers, or webmasters who work for or produce publications, news services, broadcast outlets, or news websites that are issued regularly and primarily for the dissemination of news, and who will be attending the event for news reporting purposes. To avoid delays in obtaining credentials on-site, we strongly encourage you to register in advance. Your press badge will be available on-site at the registration desk. EASL reserves the right to deny a press badge to any person at the discretion of EASL staff.
If you have not registered online prior to your arrival in Paris, you will need to register on-site at The International Liver Congress ™2019 registration desk. Proof of media accreditation will be required together with a valid passport or ID-card. Media registration in advance is strongly recommended. This enables the ILC press office to deal with any queries or issues ahead of the congress. Only registered media representatives will be permitted to work in the media areas.
Proof of media credentials will be required during both the online and onsite registration process. Please note that business cards are NOT acceptable as a form of media credential.
The official language of The International Liver Congress™ 2019 is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
