In this page you will find all the instructions on how to record your video for the ePoster Abstract Presentation and for the Oral Abstract Presentation. We have put together some very simple guidelines that will make your work easy and provide a great end result for your presence at the Digital ILC 2020.

Please note the two mandatory deadlines:

  1. ePoster Abstract Presentation (PosterSession Online)
    Deadline: 3 August 2020, 23:59 ( the time zone is CEST: Geneva time, GMT+2)
  2. Oral Abstract Presentation (meta fusion)
    Deadline: 3 August 2020, 23:59 ( the time zone is CEST: Geneva time, GMT+2)

Step 1: Prepare your poster

Use one of the templates to prepare your poster: Regular template or Engaging template

If you want to learn more about preparing your poster, watch this video: Watch the better poster video. You will need to submit your poster as PDF or PowerPoint format. Please ensure the size slide is in landscape format (140 cm x 90 cm).  If you need more details and advises about the fonts and styles, you can find the information here.

Step 2: Submit your poster

Type in the email of the author and copy/paste the unique submission code. Follow the steps, all steps are defined on this PDF with instructions and Video tutorial

Please note that if you have more than 1 poster you will only receive 1 submission code.

Step 3: Record your presentation

One business day after submitting your PDF or PowerPoint, you will receive a dedicated link to record your 5-min video presentation. Please make sure to submit your videos before the 3 August 2020.

Oral Abstract Presentation (meta fusion)
Deadline: 3 August 2020, 23:59 ( the time zone is CEST: Geneva time, GMT+2)

At the day of your presentation we will display your 10 min pre-recorded video presentation followed by 5 min live Q&A with you and a co-author of your choice. The oral presenter is asked to also record a 90 sec. video with the take-home message of your presentation. This video will be displayed on-demand next to your presentation.

You will need to upload the 2 videos on the platform (one 90 sec. video and the second up to 10 min. video).

Step 1: Record your presentation

Please use zoom to make the video recording. Download zoom software from: https://zoom.us/support/download

Presentation tips:

10 min. recording video:

  • Ensure you add a Conflict of Interests (or the absence of) on the second slide of your presentation
  • The general rule is 1 min. per slide, so we suggest no more than 10-12 slides

90 sec. recording video:

  • We recommend no more than 2-3 slides highlighting the main take-home message of your research.

Step 2: Upload the 2 video recordings

    • Enter the credentials sent to the oral presenter
    • Enter the credentials sent to the oral presenter

Note that any uploaded video that exceeds the time limit will have to be re-recorded.
