Group registration

In order to make a group registration, please refer to the group registration policy. It contains all the important information as well as the link to start the group registration. In case of questions, please contact the registration department: registration.ilc@congrex.com.

Group contract

There is the possibility to sign a group contract where you buy a package of registration tickets (“buy contingent”) for a defined number of participants until 09 January 2019. Full payment and the signed contract must be received until this date. The group contract allows you to enter participant data until 27 February 2019. Free name changes are also permitted until this date. For further information please contact registration.ilc@congrex.com.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations received up and including 01 March 2019, 60% of the client’s deposit shall be forfeited in favor of ILC 2019
  • As from 02 March 2019, the full deposit shall be retained
  • For any change of names, a fee of EUR 25.00 (excl. 10% VAT) will be charged
  • If you do a no-name group contract, the cancellation policy of the contract applies.

The group coordinator is liable to pay the registration costs as soon as she / he has registered participants for the congress.

If any delegates are not attending the conference but the cancellation policy was not respected, the complete registration costs have to be paid.

Group pick-up

The opportunity of picking up the documents for your group in advance will be offered in order to facilitate the pre-registration procedure. In order to arrange your pick-up time you will be contacted 3-4 weeks prior to the congress.

Every refund claim should be sent to Congrex in writing until 29 April 2019. Requests sent after this deadline will not be processed.

Name change, and replacement badges

A handling fee of EUR 25.00 (excl. 10% VAT) per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after 27 February 2019.

Name changes for the groups will be charged EUR 25.00 (excl. 10% VAT).

If a badge is lost or forgotten, an administrative fee of EUR 25.00 (excl. 10% VAT) will be charged for the reprint of the badge after identity verification (passport, driving license or other recognized identification document).

If both badges are brought back at the registration desk, the administrative fee will be refunded.

YI-Young Investigator

To benefit from the YI reduced fees, proof of status is mandatory.

Young investigators must be under 35 years old or still in training at the time of the congress (Thursday 11 April 2019).

Proof of age or training status is mandatory. Please refer to the bursaries page to see if you are eligible for funding from EASL (bursary programme), or for more information regarding young investigator advantages.

Nurse

To benefit from the nurses’ rate, proof of nurse status is mandatory.

Nurses who are registered to attend the Nurses and Allied Health Professionals’ forum will have access to all mainstream sessions on-site, but only on this specified day. The date will be displayed on the congress badge. Registration is exclusively valid for Friday 12 April 2019 only.

A letter of confirmation from your Head of Unit should be uploaded during the registration process confirming that you are a nurse. Alternatively, you may send your confirmation letter via e-mail to registration.ilc@congrex.com

Allied Health Professional (AHP)

To benefit from the AHPs’ rate, proof of status is mandatory.

Allied Health Professional who are registered to attend the Nurses and Allied Health Professionals’ forum will have access to all mainstream sessions on-site, but only on this specified day. The date will be displayed on the congress badge. Registration is exclusively valid for Friday 12 April 2019 only.

An attestation or relevant document confirming your professional status belonging in one of the professions under Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) should be uploaded during the registration process. Alternatively, you may send the attestation via e-mail to registration.ilc@congrex.com

The printed scientific programme book can be purchased at an additional cost of EUR 16.50 (incl. 10% VAT) during the online registration process. Order your printed material until Wednesday 27 February 2019. After this date, no printed material can be ordered. Free electronic versions of all materials (scientific programme book, abstract book, postgraduate book) will be available approx. 2 weeks prior to the congress and accessible via congress website and the ILC app.

EASL 2019 membership

Application for the 2019 EASL membership (new members and renewals) are available as of Thursday 04 October 2018.

New members: Become a new EASL member before 31 December 2018 to enjoy the reduced ILC 2019 fees for EASL members.

Registration conditions

Congrex Switzerland is the official registration agency for The International Liver CongressTM 2019.

What does the registration fee include?

  • Admission to all mainstream scientific sessions
  • Access to the exhibition area
  • Admission to the postgraduate course & basic science seminar

What is not included in the registration fee?

  • The scientific programme book can be purchased at additional cost of EUR 16.50 (incl. 10% VAT) during the online registration process. Order your printed material until Wednesday 27 February 2019. After this date, no printed material can be ordered.
  • Free electronic versions of all materials (scientific programme book, abstract book, postgraduate book) will be available approx. 2 weeks prior to the congress and accessible via congress website and the ILC app.

Lunch and coffee are not included in the registration fee, however EASL provides a certain amount of catering on a first come first served basis during the breaks.

 

We would like to make ILC 2019 a paper free event, therefore EASL thanks you for your green-consciousness!

EASL is aware of the large amount of waste generated at a congress, in particular when it comes to printed documents. Therefore, to create a more environmentally friendly congress, EASL is proposing to drastically cut its print volume by offering free electronic versions of all materials (scientific programme book, abstract book, postgraduate book). The conditions are the same for individual and group registrations.

If you wish to cancel or modify your registration to the ILC 2019, you must send an e-mail to registration.ilc@congrex.com

The fees, minus an administrative charge of 25%, will be refunded for cancellations before Wednesday 13 February 2019.

After this deadline, no refund will be possible.

Modification policy for individuals & groups

Badges

On-site registration, badge collection and congress material pick-up will be available at the registration area in foyer D. View opening hours.

All delegates and exhibitors are requested to wear their ILC badges at all times in order to be given access to the congress venue. Persons not wearing an ILC badge will not be granted access past the registration area.

Delegates are admitted into the lecture halls and other scheduled activities, as well as the catering areas.

Exhibitors are admitted into the exhibition area as well as the catering areas, but have no access to the lecture halls.

Lost badges
