The early fee deadline is aligned with the membership deadline. Should your registration remain unpaid as of 1 January 2017, early registration fees will no longer apply and will automatically be modified to full fees.

Expired EASL members who renew their EASL membership up to 19 April 2017 will benefit from reduced registration fees. Renew now!

What does the registration fee include?

MCI is the official registration agency for The International Liver CongressTM 2017.

Delegate registration fees include:

  • Admission to all mainstream scientific sessions
  • Access to the exhibition area
  • Admission to the Post-Graduate Course & Basic Science Seminar on 19 and 20 April 2017
  • Complimentary Post-Graduate Course book (available in front of the session room 30 minutes before the start of the Post-Graduate Course)

The following items are not included in the registration fee but can be purchased online while registering:

  • Bookable sessions, pre-registration is required prior to entering the lecture halls:
  • Hands-on sonography courses (€20.00)
  • Hands-on session on how to perform ultrasound elastography of the liver with different technologies (€20.00)
  • Early morning workshops (€20.00)

All announced rates include VAT. Congress materials are subject to 6% VAT.

Lunch and coffee are not included in the registration fee, however EASL provides a certain amount of catering on a first come first served basis during the breaks.

Groups

We wish to remind group leaders who are managing delegates in a group that all participant names are to be provided at the latest by Wednesday 22 March 2017 midnight (CET). Please note that the delegate details which are not received by this deadline will not appear on the participants’ list.

Small groups (2-9 delegates)

To simplify the registration process, groups with less 10 delegates can register directly online using the “Small groups module”, small group. Once registered, you will be able to proceed with the hotel booking.

Groups (10+ delegates)

Groups of 10 or more delegates must submit the ILC 2017 group registration request form dully completed to: ILC.registration@mci-group.com .

It is important to provide a full postal address, a personal e-mail address, and all details requested for each delegate, as shown on the form.

For invoicing purposes, please provide the group leader’s full name, along with complete postal address, and contact details (phone, fax, and e-mail).

The invoice and group registration confirmation note will be sent by e-mail.

All payments must be made in full prior to attending the congress.

Name change and replacement badges

  • A handling fee of EUR 25.00 per registrationwill be charged for every registration modification received after 8 March 2017. If the delegate does not attend the congress and has not respected the cancellation/refund policy, full registration costs will have to be paid.
  • If a badge is lost or forgotten, an administrative fee of EUR 25.00 will be charged for the reprint of the badge after identity verification (passport, driving license or ID card).

Congress materials

The printed congress materials package costs EUR 53.00, and includes the programme book and abstract book. These books cannot be purchased separately. Printed materials can be ordered until 17 March 2017, after this date, no printed materials can be ordered. Electronic versions of all materials will be available approx. 2 weeks prior to the congress and also accessible via the ILC app.

By default, your registration fee includes a printed programme book and abstract book.

During the registration process, you will, however, have the possibility to opt-out from printed congress materials.

EASL is aware of the large amount of waste generated at a congress, in particular when it comes to printed documents. Therefore, to create a more environmentally friendly congress, EASL is proposing to drastically cut its print volume by offering electronic alternatives to the printed programme and abstract book.

Consider your needs before ordering printed materials. Both books will be available for complimentary download before the start of the congress:
– via the congress app.
– via the ILC 2017 website.

EASL members

If you renewed your existing EASL Membership for 2017, or joined EASL as a new member, before 31 December 2016, you are entitled to the full EASL membership benefits package including reduced EASL members registration fees for ILC 2017.

ILC delegates who become EASL members as of 1 January 2017 however, are not entitled to reduced EASL member registration fees for ILC 2017, but do enjoy the other EASL membership benefits.

Young Investigators (YIs)

To benefit from the YI reduced fees, proof of status is mandatory.

Young Investigators must be under 35 years old or still in training at the time of the congress (23 April 2017). Proof of age or training status is mandatory. Please refer to the Bursaries page to see if you are eligible for funding from EASL (bursary programme), or for more information regarding young investigator advantages.

Nurses

To benefit from the nurses’ rate, proof of nurse status is mandatory.

Nurses who are registered to attend the Nurses and Associates Forum will have access to all mainstream sessions on-site, but only on this specified day. The date will be displayed on the congress badge. Registration is exclusively valid for Saturday 22 April 2017 only.

A letter of confirmation from your Head of Unit should be uploaded during the registration process confirming that you are a nurse. Alternatively, you may send your confirmation letter via e-mail to ILC.registration@mci-group.com

Registration area

On-site registration, congress material pick-up, and badge collection will be available at the registration area in Hall 2.

View opening hours

The congress venue will be accessible at the same times as the registration opening hours.

Badges

All delegates and exhibitors are requested to wear their ILC badges at all times in order to be given access to the congress venue. Persons not wearing an ILC badge will not be granted access past the registration area.

€25.00 will be charged for replacing a lost badge and for re-printing due to incorrect submission of names and/or company names or addresses.

Delegates are admitted into the lecture halls and other scheduled activities, as well as the catering areas. Only delegates who have pre-booked early morning workshops (EMW), hands-on sonography courses, or the hands-on session on how to perform ultrasound elastography of the liver with different technologies, will be admitted to these sessions.

Exhibitors are admitted into the exhibition area as well as the catering areas, but have no access to the lecture halls.

Registration modifications

A handling fee of €25.00 per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after Wednesday 8 March 2017. If a delegate does not attend the congress and has not respected the cancellation/refund policy, the complete registration costs will have to be paid.
